As regular user of x/oauth2 outside of the common providers I've noticed that x/oauth has a semi-abandoned feeling to it.

Readme links to abandoned Travis:

Resolved issues are not closed:

An, most importantly, x/oauth2 could offer a lot more flexibility for more than basic use cases with very little additional api looking at these issues:

Requests for feedback on open issues are not answered. Of course the Go team sets the priorities- however I'd like to raise the point of community need for more oauth2 flexibility.

https://dev.golang.org/owners records the primary x/oauth2 code owner as @bradfitz. Secondary owners are @rakyll @broady @shinfan @codyoss. The responsibilities of code owners aren't documented. It looks like reviews are automatically assigned to the primary owner.

There are many open reviews https://go-review.googlesource.com/q/project:oauth2+status:open but the code owners are inactive.

Any volunteers for new owners?
