The goole-protobuf gem should be providing definitions of well known types, such as Google::Protobuf::Struct, Google::Protobuf::Any, and Google::Protobuf::Empty. Unfortunately the current gem versions do not contain those classes, so we have added the generated ruby code to gcloud-ruby.
When google-protobuf supports these well known types remove them from gcloud-ruby.
