Creating a pubsub subscription with a filter

Hello,

According to the pubsub API documentation it should be possible to assign a filter while creating a subscription

I am using a slightly older version of the below code, however I believe that this should not affect the format sent.

createSubscription(

When passing in a value for the filter as options parameter to the above method, the filter value gets added to the request. However, once created, the resulting subscription does not have a filter value set.

Example of the request sent to the endpoint:

  "name": "projects/my-project-5/subscriptions/test_sub_2"

Does anyone perhaps know if the "filter" value is considered during the creation of a subscription on the server side?

Any input would be helpful.

even though the old version "looked" the same, upgrading to the latest version resolves the issue
