We'd need to switch to projectSettings here . It's still working even if dv config is applied using Global, however I'm not sure if we could run into issues as projectSettings are applied multiple times if a plugin is added multiple times (from my understanding). Additionally, I'm a bit confused as the docs state If the plugin needs to append settings at the build-level (that is, in ThisBuild) there's a buildSettings method.
