Hi,
I like GrandNode with all features it has. I just wonder is it possible to build a storefront using Nextjs a separate from the backend code?

I see the frontend still in one place and there is no guide how to change the CSS and JS or create new theme!

Regards

I definitely agree with you!, Front layout should be separate project. We have plans to do this but we need more resources!
We thinking use Vue Storefront but I'm open for any suggestions!

Hi @KrzysztofPajak
I think Vue Storefront is good.. but I still see Nextjs and Gastby great options.
Building one special for GrandNode "GrandNext" with Nextjs will be great feature and will bring more devs :-)
Iam ready to help and join here as currently iam doing theme and find its super easy and nice to build it.

Hi @HassanSiddique , I have not started it so you could start that if you want.

I would suggest to start with breaking apart Grandnode to fully headless and make both front and backend API part of basic installation. Should make any future development faster.

One step toward headless could be a "virtual headless" where one could mark up all source code with ecom headless attributes and then if selected, only these will show in the admin manager. This could be a very good analysis for later breaking apart front CMS and store parts with the ecom backend.
