Goes back to what Niklas remarked about the problem that just travelling one longer route (e.g. Berlin-Ulm) by car f**** up your monthly balance immediately which could be frustrating.
Of course if one does travel such distances by car once or even twice a month the balance feedback would be exactly right: that's a lot of CO2 emitted and the user should perhaps consider switching to ICE (see other Issue #135).
BUT: if such long routes are only travelled by car 1-4 times a year or so, the overall average emissions for the year might just aswell be below average or personal goal....
POSSIBLE SOLUTION: Reconsidering Niklas' remark I now tend to think that there should be an additional option for the CO2 Pie Chart to switch between a time span of 30 or 365 days, perhaps even with the "1 year view" as default. Shouldn't be to much work and could be toggled with "active / inactive buttons" in the style of the search (leave now, depart...).
==> needs to be discussed
PS: then it should be considered wether a similar feature also makes sense for the "means of transport" pie chart, perhaps also with the option "all routes" regardless of timespan
