See HxSearchBox_Demo_DisableTextQuery.razor (added within #351 PR).
If you select an item, both with mouse or keyboard, the items dropdown is closed, but the DefaultContentTemplate dropdown occurs.

(The issue might have been there before Bootstrap 5.2 and related refactorings.)
