I think this is what you're looking for

Hi, I'm really interested in the possibilly of changing units from kb/s default to Kbps/Mbps.
I also followed ebeem's suggestion and installed Gnome Tweaks in my Zorin 15.2 Core desktop, but I can't find the suggested setting.

+1 !

would be great if I could default it to MBps so I can easily gauge the meaning of the value, rather than having to try and eyeball the small unit number to see if it's MB/kB/B

the multiple of byte thing is great, thanks for that!

I've just thought, perhaps a good way to implement this would be a list of checkboxes for the metric prefixes?

e.g. something like:

Metric prefixes to display:

  • Giga (GB/s and Gb/s)
  • Mega (MB/s and Mb/s)
  • Kilo (KB/s and Kb/s)
  • Base (B/s and b/s)
