removing multiple files and tracks

I was wondering if there is a way to manage the loaded files to quickly select multiple files to remove from viewer. I have been closing the view it using the gear icon on the corner of the tracks, but I wasn't sure if there is a more efficient way to do this when you have several tracks.

Not saying this is perfect, but if you edit the JSON text for the view configuration, you could highlight and delete the text for multiple track objects if you know what tracks you're looking for.
