One of Raku's best devs thinks this is also known as JSONC, but they have a different site.

Doesn't that mean that Raku guy needs to see an FAQ made by his community? 🤔

I'm just trying to understand and help. Is there a difference or not? If so, and I were in charge here, I would highlight the differences to help avoid confusion.

Well, looking at this, it seems like it's already crystal clear, one isn't related to the other in any way, besides both being based on plain old JSON.

Saying that Hjson is also known as JSONC is similar to saying that Raku is also known as Perl. ;) Sure there are many similarities and a shared origin, but they are not exactly the same. I think the fact that they have different names should be enough to make it clear that they are not exactly the same. Still, there have been similar questions in the past, most commonly "What's the difference between JSON5 and Hjson?". I had a look at that here:

Maybe we should add that information in our FAQ.
