Feedback

issue 1: the docs don't give practical details of how to use. it says it may be "very time consuming and inconsistent". it also says "may take a LONG time and may need to be repeated to obtain all records".

so... some obvious questions are:
how long is "a LONG time"?
how do i know when its running? (what should i look for in the logs, for example?)
how do i know when it finishes or at least finishes one round?
since it says i may need to run it repeatedly, how do i know when i can/should start another attempt?
assuming i am running it with "reload all records" off so that it will do "incremental" reloads, how do i know how many (if any) new records were added on the last attempt?

issue 2: docs and labeling of the "reload" option are confusing. there's a checkbox on the left side of the dialog (checked by default). there's an on/off toggle switch on the right side of the dialog (off by default). the text says "If true the current records are cleared from memory (does not effect the device) and the records are reloaded. If false the existing records are left in place and only missing records are added. Default is false." one obvious problem is it is not clear whether the "if true" part is referring to the check box or the toggle-switch. since it says "default is false" it seems like it must be referring to the toggle switch. so what is the check box actually for? unclear.
