Hi!

The project is currently abandoned.

As of late I've rather been working on PHP-Scoper and Box which are PHAR related. In the process, I found out and learned more about PHARs. But I'm still conflicted about what should be the way to go when it comes to install/update them. Right now the available solutions are:

• Download the PHAR directly from the source manually
• Use an installation script
• Use a PHAR manager (PhiVe) either as a dedicated tool or composer plugin
• Use the self-update command from the PHAR when there is one (thanks to PharUpdater for example)

They however have all their own pros and cons (mostly DX & security related).

So yes I am looking for maintainers, but there is the issue to know which way we are going with this package first.
