Well, after some research, I've concluded that it isn't worth implementing auto-update until the app is signed by an Apple Developer certificate. The user experience will be awful. Also, most ready-to-go auto-update solutions require it.

And I'm not able to obtain one right now because of reasons. I will get back to this issue later.

It's 1.5 years behind since your comment. Will the app be signed with Apple certificate and will the issue of auto-updating of the app be solved afterwards? Thanks.

P.S. You have an awesome app Ilya! I probably can't even find a better one than yours. My respect!
