Until now I've been using oneswitch
And one feature I'm missing in onlyswitch is the ability to specify the interval to keep awake directly form the dock.
Is this something you see implemented in the future?
Thank you for sharing this cool app.

Sure. Because of the different interactive mode, I haven't figured out how to implement it yet.

Another one from oneswitch that i sometimes use is: Do not disturb.

You mean controlling focus mode?

Hey, also from my side thanks for sharing this wonderful app. 🚀

Regarding the keep-awake functionality: Is it possible to activate at least the screensaver in order to lock the computer on inactivity?

Cheers!

@devops-42 I am not sure if my understanding is right. You want to keep display on when entering screen saver or lock screen. Like the configuration in System Settings below:

If yes, the current design of Keep Awake switch cannot implement your requirement, because it always prevents entering screen saver like when you are playing a video. However, I will explore whether there is another solution that can directly modify the Lock Screen settings to implement it. If there is possible, need to develop a new switch for it.

Hi @jacklandrin , thanks for yor response.
I think, you got my point: I want to prevent the system going to sleep (which kills my VPN everytime), but need to lock the screen on inactivity.
Maybe this is another story and has nothing much in common with the „keep awake“ plugin :)

Hi @devops-42
I added a Clamshell model on Evolution Gallery in the latest version. Can you try if it meets your requirements? It will keep background tasks running though you close the lid or Lock Screen on inactivity.
Evolution Gallery
This switch always asks for your password. If you feel it is annoying, you can add your Mac password after the turn on and off commands, like:
do shell script "sudo pmset -a disablesleep 1" with prompt "OnlySwitch" with administrator privileges password "xxxx"
