Right now, the published version 24.9.0 causes a package-lock.json dependency on fsevents "^1.2.7" which is updated in master (#9215), but not published yet...

The fsevents version in question, now 1.2.11, is causing build bugs on windows systems using Jest.

Please publish a point release of this library to npm in order to relieve the ci/cd issues on the community.

It's a breaking change, so we can't do that. Jest 25 is scheduled to be released today, go for that instead
