Hi,
I want to create a package for Arch Linux. Do you mind creating git tags for the release commits (aka version bumps)? That would simplify packaging. :)

Dear Stefan,
I am not sure if I understand you correctly.
First, do you want simple git tags (non-annotated tag, i.e. 'git tag
v1.4.1')?
Second, why does that simplify packaging? You would need to checkout
every version anyway for packaging. Or do you simply prefer tags since
that way it is clearer to what they refer compared to simple commit hashes?
Best
Michael
Jou should (annotate)tag your and sign your version bump releases. Packagers are then able to recognize, fetch and verify your releases easily. Now one has to dig into your commit log to find releases. What is worth mentioning is, that there are already two releases tagged on the github releases page; that causes confusion, as one might checkout an outdated revision.
