Distributions may provide more than one binary. Some package managers can take advantage of this for example flatpak (see https://www.freedesktop.org/software/appstream/docs/chap-Metadata.html#tag-provides)

Follow these tasks

  • Add a Set<Executable> to assemblers and distributions.
  • Add a primary property to Executable.
  • Deprecate single executable property.
  • Update package templates that may support multiple binaries
