technically i am not engough knowledgabe, so pardon if this questions turns out stupid. when i run a workload in a container on my operating sytem, i want to protect this operating system from malicious container. i understand kata container is very good for this, as it increases the isolation.
the second use case is the other way round. i have a powerful notebook, the company i am working with does not trust me fully, and lets me log in via citrix into a cloud hosted windows or linux vm and then it runs iwth the security settings they want it to run. i am not able to tinker with the cloud providers hosting of this container, or vm. can my company leverage kata containers to let the company VM run on my computer instead of the cloud provider, so that i, as root user cannot tinker with it?
what i saw with relation to it "confidential VM" or "isolation VM";:
