After discussing this topic there are some open TODOs before 1.0:

-p shorthand for --password shouldn't exist, since users shouldn't use it for production environments and therefore it shouldn't be comfortable to use it
discuss other existing shorthands to only have them for the most relevant flags
write down some conventions for future shorthands
