I'm on MX Linux 23, which is built on Debian GNU/Linux 12 (bookworm). I'm using ksnip 1.10.1

KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.103.0
Qt Version: 5.15.8
Kernel Version: 6.1.0-13-amd64 (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: X11
Processors: 12 × AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-Core Processor
Memory: 15.5 GiB of RAM
Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon RX 550 / 550 Series
Manufacturer: Micro-Star International Co., Ltd.
Product Name: MS-7C91
System Version: 2.0

In the Dolphin file manager, if I right-click an image file (.png and .jpg tested) and select Open With ksnip, ksnip does not appear.

However, if I then click on the panel icon to open ksnip, that image file will be loaded in it.

So this is just a problem with the program not opening on the desktop when called via Dolphin's context menu, thus necessitating another user action.

Not the end of the world, but perhaps worth a look into.

Otherwise, with a couple of custom Actions, ksnip is doing exactly what I want it to do. And I really appreciate its ability to act as a basic image editor. Well done!

Thanks.
