I'm not a lawyer, but I think it's probably better to have CLA for cool company projects. The following Japanese article is probably easy to understand about CLA and why you need CLA.

As I said, I'm not a lawyer, but the Apache license explicitly mentions about contributions, but the MIT/BSD license does not, so protecting your company in this way is not a bad option.
