Description

Custom Domains automation together with Seamless deployment of SaaS provider applications to kyma environments are user stories supporting the Provide tooling for automated Kyma lifecycle and subscription management epic.

Typically business solutions provided by SAP and non-SAP partners and customers require seamless integration with their [business] custom domains.

• Business often operate their own in-house domain registrars and DNS services.

• Domains must be properly registered and then assigned to appropriate DNS zones (regardless if the DNS zones are operated in-house or via an external DNS provider).

• Starting from there, SAP BTP, Kyma runtime can simplify the entire process of assigning custom domains to kyma workloads, either through the built-in DNS automation (against supported DNS providers) and/or as a manual setup or a combination of both.
