Description

Understand when and how to use kubernetes events and the semantics of the values:

  • typical values for the different attributes and when to use them
  • when to report an event
  • is there a versioning? Is it attached to a CRD lifecycle? Can we change events at any time?
  • To which object the event should relate to in the discussed situation

Understand implementation details

  • How to implement them, anything to consider?
  • How to test them?

Criterias

  • Make a concrete API/Event proposal for the status story
  • Document the most relevant findings
