Allow READ ONLY and DEFERRABLE transactions

Thanks for the amazing project! It is a real pleasure to work with it!

I would like to utilize read-only transactions. Since I normally use the SERIALIZABLE transaction isolation level, the DEFERRABLE option is also interesting.
