Params encoded with JS(encodeURIComponent) is not compatible?

I found url escaping problem with this code

  e.GET("/:name", func(c echo.Context) error {
      name := c.Param("name")
      return c.String(http.StatusOK, name)
  })

(こんにちは) is encoded into (%E3%81%93%E3%82%93%E3%81%AB%E3%81%A1%E3%81%AF) in the web browser

$ curl "localhost:1323/(%E3%81%93%E3%82%93%E3%81%AB%E3%81%A1%E3%81%AF)"
(%E3%81%93%E3%82%93%E3%81%AB%E3%81%A1%E3%81%AF)

the result is (%E3%81%93%E3%82%93%E3%81%AB%E3%81%A1%E3%81%AF), not (こんにちは)

If i strip off (, ) it's OK.

$ curl "localhost:1323/%E3%81%93%E3%82%93%E3%81%AB%E3%81%A1%E3%81%AF"
こんにちは

I hope someone can address this please.
