This ticket is a feature request for mCaptcha to support support a memory-hard hash function (in addition to sha256).
For example, scrypt is an option that's used by PoW! Captcha
But it might be better to use something specifically designed for proof-of-work, such as CryptoNight, which is what's used by Monero and crypto-loot's CAPTCHA implementation.
