Hi, Is it really necessary to change NS for each domain i want to use ? I do have a multiple records on each domain, by this change my records wont work anymore..

NS tells the world who is your official DNS provider. You can manually copy the DNS records from MIAB into that official provider, but that would be alot of work.

For the best experience as intended by the inventors of the project, yes.

External & Custom DNS records require much, much more work to setup manually & individually. If that was the default experience for every domain setup in Mail-in-a-Box, you'd be wishing for a way to automate it, and custom NS records are that way. 🤣

It would be great if we could set domains as external to reduce the number of checks that have to be ran and "errors" reported. Most of my domains are registered through cloudflare and I export the zone file (usually removing A and CNAME records), and import to cloudflare. It isn't a whole lot of work. It is generally a one time set it and forget it when adding a new domain to MIAB.
