The README mentions RFC-4122 as reference, but there's a proposal (if approved) RFC-4122bis which defines version 8 of UUID, which includes generation examples of a time-based and a name based UUID.

Does this library support UUID v8? Maybe the README should be updated to include the new RFC instead of the older one and mention which UUID versions are covered in stduuid.

I'm reading through the code to see if it's possible for me to contribute in anything there's needed :)
