What type of issue is this?
Missing compatibility data
What information was incorrect, unhelpful, or incomplete?
Currently, some browsers support relative color syntax, but no browsers support relative colors with
currentColor
as the origin color. This should be noted somewhere. What browsers does this problem apply to, if applicable?
Chromium (Chrome, Edge 79+, Opera, Samsung Internet), Firefox, Safari
What did you expect to see?
I expected to see a separate row for which browsers support using
currentColor
as the origin color in relative color syntax.Did you test this? If so, how?
This is part of the Web Platform Tests for Interop 2024. (I have also tested this myself in Chrome 123 and was disappointed to find that it didn't work.)
Can you link to any release notes, bugs, pull requests, or MDN pages related to this?
