Does not work on desktop Excel for Mac

Hi our organisation has a O365 subscription and I installed the Excel Labs add-in, on my mac it does not work on the Excel App but strangely the add-in works in the web-version of excel. Is it because the LABS.GENERATIVEAI is not compatible with Excel 365 for Mac? btw. I use the beta version of Excel. Could that be a problem?

Chiming in to also report that LABS.GENERATIVEAI doesn't work on desktop.

When opening a web version on the desktop app, the function is renamed to "_xldudf_LABS_GENERATIVEAI" and throws a #NAME error.

For the time being, using the web version might suffice - but would really appreciate this bug being resolved sooner rather than later.

Running into the same issue. Weird bit is I tested this a while ago and it worked, now it doesn't.
