custom sort order for suggestions

Firstly, Monaco is awesome. Thank you for creating and sharing it.

That said, I am writing to request, respectfully, for #1077 to be reopened, which was previously closed:
a. without providing any solution, or any discussion of how a solution might be developed (whether by the project team or others)
b. without providing any reason for rejecting the request
c. without responding to proposals/offers to develop and contribute a solution
d. in a manner that disallows any other community member interested in this topic to continue the discussion

a, b, and c are, at the least, disappointing, especially since there was no opportunity to explore whether the barriers to implementation could have been overcome with help from the community, and there certainly were/are people willing to help (including me)

Even if none of a, b and c are topics that this project team is willing to entertain, discuss or otherwise change, would you mind to at least allow comments to continue to be added to this issue, so that others who may want to discuss / explore a solution to this topic, might be allowed to do so?
