The installer (https://download3.vmware.com/software/WKST-1750-WIN/VMware-workstation-full-17.5.0-22583795.exe) is currently just not available |
my bad 😄 Closing for now as I expect winget to work once the installer becomes available, thanks for pointing that out ^^ |
This may not self-resolve because VMware URLs no longer exist for the most part. Someone will have to identify if there is similar URL available from Broadcom at this point since all VMware content has been transitioned over to the Broadcom site. Good luck with that... |
@pricemc1 you are right. According to my research, the downloadlinks are only available after logging in to the broadcom portal. I have found the following Direcotry containing all Verions, but only as .exe.tar which is currently not supported by winget: I'll try to find other (public available) links. |

Installation of the package with version 17.5.0 results in error. Not sure if this is a duplicate of #152915, but the error message seems different
