This issue made me stop using flutter_file_picker and switch to file_selector package.
The fact that you have to import a supposedly "internal" file is also not documented

I understand your frustration, and it has been a bit of an odd thing in this package for a while. However, I'm planning on rectifying this within the next couple of days (I finally have some time to do so!)
