Could be the foundation for things like

  • my threads
  • my messages

Or similar features

Interesting, so you mean using the email address? However for privacy reasons I don't store the email address returned by GitHub.

Maybe the "favorites" thing could help here? (#37) I.e. you would have a thread that you can follow.

We could identify/mark messages on the client side.

The "my messages" or "my threads" feature could also just be a filter query based on the logged in email address, so no need to store it. Actually it would be a anonymous link like /messages?by=$theLoggedInEmail
