The implementation is not complete, not reading config from io-client.

The design needs to be updated for browser usage:

  • config() needs to take url and pass to io in io-remote.
  • io throws NotConfigured if url is not set.
  • Only do increment-port retry if it is localhost/::1.

Remove from 8.0 roadmap
