Is it possible to merge some repositories together?

Would it be possible to merge some repositories together? When trying to contribute it is a bit hard to keep track of all the different pr's and branches/commits. And it is harder to see which commits relate to each other, when they are committed to different repositories.
I understand that it is easier to update forked repositories this way so I would suggest keep it that way for them, but I think the whole "tool" stuff (the plugins, the "common" repos etc.) can be put together. This would make a lot easier!

Or are there any contra-points I missed?

I remembered that there was already a moe fork that did something like that: https://github.com/ark100/multi-os-engine
Would be something like that feasible?
