XXX is a mess. All other video categories have SD, HD, UHD but XXX only has x264 which is filled with SD stuff and UHD&SD which actually work as intended (but UHD without covers).

Can we create the following and have some recategorize function to relocate current releases?

  • XXX > SD
  • XXX > HD
  • XXX > UHD

Wasn't aware of that limitation of XXX. This makes perfect sense to me.

Are there scene categories for those ? Don’t see them on newznab specs either

mm as far as I know (and see) xxx has the following categories

6010 DVD
6060 Imageset
6999 Other
6070 Packs
6080 SD
6045 UHD
6090 WEBDL
6020 WMV
6030 XviD <- should be in SD (imo)
6040 x264 <- HD

@Wally73 I don't think the encoding (XviD, x264) should determine the 'Quality' (SD, HD). Those are about resolutions.
I have to admit that I do not like our current category system, never have. I would prefer to have a tagging system so entries can be both HD + XviD, SD + x264, SD + Xvid + WEBDL, etc.
However, that needs a complete rewrite of the whole category system which is something that needs to wait for other systems to be finished.

Yes so:

XviD > SD (Delete XviD)
x264 > SD & HD (Delete x264)
WMV > SD, HD, UHD (depending on res)
