I don't think I have seen posters being dropped with a bulk freighter,
although I must say I've
had my eyes more on the controls than on the overview at drop time.
The Bulk freighter I used is a Dvaered Arsenal. You can find it in
the save file of some of my bug postings, e.g. the one about the fake
transponder, under the name 'Agitprop' . It can annihilate quite a
lot of smaller ships, and outfly a blink-engine-less Goddard by
combining the speed of it's conventional in-system engine with its
blink engine. Plus, I position the ship in advance so that I go
directly to a sanctuary like another planet to land on or a hypergate.

I keep that in mind for when I have more time to modify how that mailing
mission works (dunno when).
I was fearing graphical issues when a bulk freighter spreads 3000 posters,
how did it turn out?
Last question: how do you manage to survive the ships going after you when
you have a bulk freighter? (I mean, at least the Goddard should be stronger
than you, no?)

The Dvaered Propaganda mission flown with a bulk freighter is highly profitable in early-to-mid game play if you have a bulk freighter -
2975 tons at about 4000 or 5000 a pop if you pick a good mission. The reputation change is not much to shout about, but it is nice and steady.
After the FLF catastrophe, priorities are different. How do you get the Dveared to like you without breaking with the FLF? You need
lots of missions that can be collected while you infiltrate the Dveared with a fake transponder. You can only do one dead or alive mission with some confidence of being on time, and the search and destroy missions are hard when the Dvaered keep shooting at you if you come in a large ship. The census and propaganda missions can be done stealthily if you don't carry a lot of leaflets.
So, a logical way to collect more than one mission is to start with a ship with minimal cargo space, and than change outfits to gradually add space to get small parcels of of leaflets to distribute, for little monetary gain, but steady reputation gain. Nice to have all these ultralight / light / patchwork stealth / combat platings etc. Only... You don't need that. A robotic interceptor drone with zero cargo space can accept the propaganda missions, for zero monetary reward, but I'm not doing it for the money anyway. I suppose a handful of leaflets can be stashed somewhere under the seat cushions, and that amounts to zero tons?
So, can we say we reflect real life with giving monetary reward proportional to the amount of leaflets distributed, but do not think better
of people who spam more effectively?
