Load var from the .env that contains $

I have a variable in the env file that contains $ that is not being correctly loaded.
This is what I have tried

• ****$** => **** (the variable loaded ends before the dollar sign)
• '****$**' => ****
• '****\$**' => ****,
• '****$$**' => ****$

Could be this a bug? or is there another way to scape the $?
