I think it would be a good idea to have a general purpose source field. There is the URL field, which I would use if I found the recipe on the Internets. But where to put the information, that the recipe is from The Great Cooking Book, p. 362 or My best friend's Grandma? Right now there is no suitable field for that.
Good Morning,
I would look for a possibility to store additional information, like a clickable URL to my original recipe image, which I uploaded to nextcloud and want to link to the recipe next to the URL from where I extracted the recipe. Since both oginal recipes are little bit different it.
Would be nice to have a clickable link in the text for example.
@Christoph460 I am not sure I get your point here correctly. You want to have multiple URLs associated with a recipe, is that right? If yes, please open a new feature request (and at best a PR 😄). If no, please rephrase a bit to make your intention clear. Thank you.

Having a look at https://schema.org/Recipe, maybe the https://schema.org/citation field would fit.
