Describe the usecase for the feature

Nocodb could be a comfortable management tool for databases running on remote hosts.

At the moment, when trying to connect to a database on a remote host, that database needs to be exposed on the network (which in many cases is not desirable), or a separate SSH tunnel needs to be established for every remote database.

Suggested Solution

Using a socks proxy it would be possible to just connect to another host's subnet and access any database that might be available there.
