I'd like to get a general idea of the release plan:

  • Roughly when could we expect a new stable release with prebuilt binaries for Node 16 and 18?
  • What platform/arch will have prebuilt binaries?

I think it makes more sense here to instead ask when a release of 0.28.0 can be scheduled, since that resolves the build issues. For the time being, you can get around the build issues by installing npm i nodegit@next but obviously using a pre-release is not ideal.

So that being said, when could a final 0.28.0 release be published.

+1 on this one, especially now that Node 16 will enter EOL soon
