PSA: Upcoming planned maintenance activities on the LinuxONE Open Source Software Cloud at Marist College

This will affect the LinuxONE machines (rhel8-s390x).

In an ongoing effort to upgrade and better secure the IBM Open Source Software Cloud hosted at Marist College, we will be taking two planned outages, both of which will be fairly significant.

The first one will occur on May 10th at approximately 10 am ET and will last for up to 8 hours. During this maintenance window you will lose network connectivity and all virtual machines will be stopped and all originally running servers will be restarted. If you feel it best to stop your server prior to May 10th, please do so but remember you will need to restart it or let us know that it needs restarting.

The second maintenance activity will start on May 21st, at approximately 11pm ET and should be significantly shorter but could last up to a few hours as well. During this time, all network activity will be halted both in and out of your servers, but they will remain running and then network connectivity will resume.
