working it out through iteration then.. Then what's going on with a SQL connection function ... lots of entries in google talking about how that can't be exported. |

I'm a relative newcomer to node.js
I have a monolithic piece of code with mySQL, express, DNS2, traceRT, dotenv/config, router, cors, body-parser etc.
I'm trying to break up the code into separate files, I suppose modules is how they are referred.
I believe I'm trying to use ES7.
the whole import / export explanations on the web are hot mess. Seems like an opportunity do improve documentation.
mostly youtuber provide super simple explanations for single npm types.
how about if the examples were to have more complex scenarios
i suppose I'm using v18.17.0.. will upgrade shortly, I thought I was running most current, but there again seems to be not clearly spelled out, I'm probably lost in the weeds.
