@mhdawson On master, this was fixed in #20129. I'm guessing a libuv update may not be in the cards for 8.x, in which case I think these types of failures might just be something you have to live with in 8.x CI.

I see that PR has the lts-watch-8.x label so maybe it will land there eventually after all.
