馃摐 Description

We have a self hosted instance. We have a workflow with a digest that used to be set with a back-off strategy. It no longer seems to be supported and gives this error on the UI (see image).

We then tried to go back to the same workflow, delete the digest step, add a new digest with v24 configurations, and update the workflow. We got 500 error returned from Novu 馃槩

馃憻 Reproduction steps

  1. Create a workflow with a digest step with a 'back-off' strategy on a previous version.
  2. Promote to Prod
  3. Upgrade to version 24
  4. Look back at the workflow in the UI in prod mode.
  5. You should see the error on the UI similar to the one attached in the description
  6. Go back to Dev mode
  7. Delete the digest step
  8. Create a new one
  9. Update
  10. Error will appear on the UI due to a "500 Internal Server Error" on the network

馃憤 Expected behavior

It should just work post update.
