JavaPasswordSafe 0.82 shows UI problems on macOS Monterey (12.0.1)

I recently updated my macOS system to Monterey and now JavaPasswordSafe has problems displaying the View/Edit dialog of an item.
Some dialog items are not shown at all, some do not show content, the notes are shown as a black box.
Most items appear when I navigate using tab, click in an invisible item (hard to hit blindly), or when I switch to another app and back again.
The "OK" button is the only correctly displayed item.
I checked the Java version (bundled in the app)
