I would like to use the nteract components for Jupyter kernel access. I was following the instructions for Writing Your Own Notebook for Remote Compute. This was very useful... even though it was an archived document. I assumed it was just out of date. Things were humming along well until I realized that it was incomplete and seems to never have been finished. Is there another complete version of this document (or something similar) elsewhere?
I would like to use the Jupyter protocol to create plots (using matplotlib, plotly, etc. along with Dask for computing) in Python and then display the plots in an Electron app. The updates would happen without interactive user input in the Cells (as is typical in notebooks), but instead the updates would happen based upon more traditional GUI controls. Does this seem like something that is even plausible? I thought I might need to drop down below the level of Cells and that was what led me to the incomplete instructions for creation of a notebook from scratch. If anyone can provide any suggestions, I would be very grateful.
Also does anyone have an email address for "the workspace administrator at nteract" on nteract.slack.com? The nteract slack page directs people without one of the supported (OAuth?) addresses to contact the administrator without providing any further direction.

Thanks very much for any help, in advance...
