Easiest way to implement 404 page on Cpanel hosting

Hi there.

I created a file named [404].vue inside the pages directory to customize the 404 page. This works when I use the npm run dev command and gives me the desired output. However, after I generate the project output (npm run generate) and place the output in public_html in cpanel, the desired page is not displayed. What can I do to fix this problem?

After uploading the file content dist to public_html in cPanel, rename the 404.html file to 404.shtml This will override the default CPanel 404 page and display your custom page instead.
