Context

For V3, which focuses on making the website informative primarily for potential partners, Jerri recommends modifying the homepage to

  • (a) add projects that Open Austin wants to showcase, addressed by Modify homepage #89, and
  • (b) create case studies for the completed works that we're showcasing

Both (a) and (b) are so that we can attract partners looking to add that kind of work to bolster their efforts.

This ticket focuses on (b).

User flow

As a website visitor, I want to click on a showcased project and open a case study, so that I can learn more about that project.

We could make a few case study templates for regular users and their projects. Basically, we can have different .pages or .doc case study templates which users could fill out themselves.

After a review of everything related to the case study, we could upload it to this repo or a cloud drive, attach a url link or button for the new case study to a specific portion of the website, and then make the case study available for viewing outside the Open Austin website while allowing people the option of downloading a copy of the case study for future reference.

Here's a link to the case studies skeleton template. We can use the 2nd one for all of our current and future projects.
